Ubuntu Edmonton

Ubuntu (Humanity) Edmonton grew from the tenth-year commemoration activities of the genocide in Rwanda.

In Edmonton, a small group of people were appalled by the living conditions of the widows. They decided to plant seeds of hope in the devastation of their lives. They made it their mission to bring back humanity where it had failed and restore dignity.
These individuals are committed to providing awareness among as many people as possible about the importance of improving the living conditions of the women and children survivors of the genocide in Rwanda.

It's in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada that the board of directors is located, however volunteer committees in major cities are now committed to fundraising for the empowerment of these courageous women.

"You cannot hope to build a better world without improving the individuals.
To that end, each of us must work for our own improvement and at the same time,
share a general responsibility for all humanity."
